Itchy City vs. the Premiere

Locked in a pen, desperate for attention

Feature

We saw the film before its general release (chill out) and Itchy had the chance to go to the premiere and be put in a pen next to the red carpet – we grabbed that chance.

Itchy doesn't like asking mundane questions such as 'Did you enjoy making the film?' (Of course they did!), and 'Do you like London?' (Even if they don't, they will say yes). Yet, stars of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead were asked these questions by various online media. Yes, Mary likes London and its architecture and Michael Cera enjoyed making the film.

Brie Larson, who plays Envy, the lead singer of 'The Clash at Demonhead' in the film, was stunning. Oh, and we had a nice chat. Nothing relevant to anything, we just asked her to go out with us and then break up so that we could notch up the number of Itchy's evil exes. She obliged and we went out for all of 30 seconds before we broke it up because the relationship was all going too fast. We're not lying, that genuinely happened.

Michael Cera looked like a Nan with a red jacket and old woman glasses, and wrote 'MC' on his nose so people knew. Still, he's an awesome nanny looking man, and actually looked into Itchy's eyes to say goodbye when he strolled into the Empire Cinema in Leicester Square. We're smitten.

Anna Kendrick was far too engrossed with the fans to notice anyone in our pen but the petite twilight star wore a black dress so figure hugging that it could have actually been her skin.

Edgar Wright denied and laughed off the rumour, which we suspect was invented mere minutes before his appearance, that he has been drafted in to direct the Hobbit. Damn shame. Obviously, the presence of Florence Welch, Simon Pegg, and most of all Claudia Winkleman helped to quell our disappointment. The film's immense, we already told you that here.
