Situated in the student realm of Broomhill and owned by the University of Sheffield Union, you would imagine this pub to be the younger, prettier pub that all the other drinking holes are jealous of. And you would be very wrong. The traditional, pub-inspired name gives you a more accurate idea of what to expect: with its modestly decorated interior and its unfussy layout, the Fox and Duck attracts students and non-students of all ages. Perfect in its simplicity, they'll even let you take your own chips in here and eat them, a touch that utterly reaffirms our faith in humanity in these dark times.
