The Last Laugh Comedy Club

The Lescar – home of dart–wielding locals and ex–students whose yellow fingers shakily roll their 40th fag of the day while wondering where it all went wrong. Although an unlikely venue for Sheffield's biggest comedy night, it boasts a huge back room that's home to The Last Laugh Comedy Club. Compered by Toby Foster from Phoenix Nights, the acts range from bumbling Ruperts fresh out of Cambridge to skinhead Rabs fresh out of Glasgow. It's not unknown for big names like Peter Kay and Johnny Vegas to make an appearance as well. So popular that you need to book a week in advance, the quality of comedy certainly lives up to the demand.
