Winter Gardens

Award winning plant project that the tourist brochures always boast about. An impressively sized greenhouse that basically provides an alternative to the peace gardens on a rainy day. Situated next to the millennium galleries and described as a 'haven' from the hustle and bustle of city life, the gardens and gallery provide a nice little place to take visiting relatives and pretend that you are proper cultured. It's all very nice but you can never quite escape the feeling that it's quite pointless. What exactly can you expect from a garden?
