Owlerton Dog Racing
It used to be the domain of old men in flat caps and fags hanging out of their mouths. It's grown younger as of late though, and the Owlerton Experience has lifted greyhound racing well into, at least, the latter half of the 20th century. With bars, restaurants and all the necessary betting arrangements this can be a great (and possibly expensive) night or afternoon out. With around 260 events a year, you've got to back a winner one day.
