La Gondola

Do not be put off that this quaint little Italian restaurant is situated opposite Flares nightclub and just round the corner from the brash West Street Bars. When you step through the door you'll be transported into a (very small) corner of Italia. Some might say the place is in need of a lick of paint but the food is top notch, the staff extremely friendly, and the atmosphere somehow manages to cater for both romantic couples and giggling groups of hens. All this at a very reasonable price. La Gondola is definitely one of Sheffield's hidden gems.
