The Nut caters for all ages from 18 to 80. It always appears full on week nights, with tie-brandishing business folk drowning in Caffreys, students stumbling home from lectures and wine-demolishing dames on a one-way mission to city centre annihilation. A summer haven for lovely ladies, the trendy beer patio out front allows you to squint through your beer goggles at miserable drivers who crawl past thinking they may as well stop for a half. It's undergone modern refurbishment in recent years - after a reckless night here you might need a skull renovation of your own.
