Baan Thai

The King of Thailand must be pretty peeved. Someone's only gone and stolen a few choice items from his palace and used them to transform this old bank into a classy Thai restaurant. OK, so on closer inspection you may be able to see the gold on the statues beginning to peel, but you get the idea. It's grand in the nicest, tackiest way possible. Home to the biggest menus in the world and the politest waiting staff, this place will have you feeling all Leonardo Di Caprio-like, wanting to jet off to some Thai beach.
