The Fox and Duck

The University-owned Fox and Duck is perfectly situated in the student-saturated area of Broomhill. And yet the pub has none of the distinguishing features of your typical student bar: sticky floors, people in fancy dress and cheesy music. Oh no. None of that here. While the students flock to neighbouring watering holes like hypochondriacs to a hospital, you'll find this place teeming with local Yorkshiremen, enjoying a few pints of bitter and discussing the finer points of pigeon racing. But, with a wide selection of cask ales it might be worth popping in to give your taste buds a bit of a treat.
