The Place
From the exterior this pub looks more like a new build house: characterless and forgettable. But like a fine wine, over the years it has matured and become quite tasteful. Well, as tasteful as a student occupied bar can be. Offering three pool tables, a dart board and numerous big screens showing sporting events, all you jocks out there can get your sporting fix. Providing a veritable smorgasbord of entertainment, The Place serves as a decent pre-club warm-up, and is a mere stone's throw away from the city centre. As long as you can stagger that far, you'll be fine.
