Odeon Cinema
There's one thing about Odeon cinemas which baffles us: the fact that after the adverts and trailers have been shown, the lights in the room suddenly come on and the curtains close across the screen. Now this may have been fine in the days when there was a nice lady selling ice creams from a tray hanging around her neck, but without this luxury, this weirdly brief interval isn't such a welcome interruption. Especially when it means you'll probably fill the time by eating all your popcorn, meaning you'll have none left by the time the film actually starts.
