Winter Gardens
Sheffield has 74 parks and green spaces but who wants to go outdoors when Sheffield has its very own Eden Project? The giant greenhouse is situated in the centre of town for those rare days, ahem, when it rains in Sheffield. Check out the tropical plants when you can't enjoy watching people getting soaked in the fountains in the neighbouring peace gardens. It's free to get in and has an art gallery next door, the Crucible Theatre opposite and a library nearby. It's probably the best place to take a great aunt or other visiting relative on their first trip to Sheffield.
