Twenty Two A

When it comes to birthdays, nothing makes your heart sink faster than the two phrases, 'good things come in small packages' and 'it's the thought that counts'. Everybody knows these are just polite ways of labelling somebody a skinflint and thinly concealing your bitter disappointment. When it comes to the Twenty Two A café, however, never a truer word was spoken. Its size and popularity may make it feel a little cramped at times, but the delicious homemade food and the thoughtful finishing touches to the décor easily justifies making the trip there and squeezing inside.
