Bar One
Sheffield University's Bar One apparently has the longest student bar in the country. This means it doesn't take long to get a cheap pint from the miserable staff. There's a large pool room and big-screen TVs for sports fixtures and Neighbours. Eat a Wimpy-esque takeaway in the dubious One To Go or chill in the beer garden. Best to avoid until the evening when it fills up with students, most of them dressed up as pirates/cheerleaders/retro television characters for one of the many union nights.
