The Lescar Hotel
This place knows a thing or two about booze, having served the drunks of Sheffield for over 100 years. However with a recently swanked up interior, the scary locals have moved out and the hip have moved in. It's not a case of all style no substance though. You can still find regular comedy nights and poetry readings, plus fantastic well-cooked nosh. Home to the best beer garden in Sheffield – on weekends you can literally chill out with a beer and a barbie. Great weather not guaranteed.
