Dempsey's
Hidden at the bottom of the Moor, this well-known gay establishment is just like marmite: you'll either love it or loathe it. Unsure as to whether it's a bar, restaurant or nightclub, all three are offered up throughout the day – if you can stomach the George Michael and Duran Duran loop downstairs. Head upstairs to dominate a dancefloor which is smaller than a parking space. Some kind of loose membership policy apparently operates, but say you're an Itchy reporter and you'll be just fine.
