The Porter Brook
When Noah was making his ark, he had a few planks of left-over wood which he kindly donated to the publican of the Porter Brook pub. They've made good use of this wood, and have literally used it for everything; we were surprised to find the toilets weren't wooden. A good mix of students and locals give the Porter Brook a friendly and welcoming atmosphere on a Friday night. The little patio area overlooks the small river, so the smokers have a nice view while charring their lungs.
