The Rude Shipyard
Within the doors of 89 Abbeydale Road, you'd be forgiven for thinking two things 1) Where's all the maritime action at? And 2) Why the hell haven't I been here before? This small, two story building houses such variety and enjoyment as to entertain even the staunchest of Starbucks obsessives. Having popped in with various friends now, we feel absolutely no shame in ordering the large slice, fondant rich Guinness cake and the double espresso shot coffee. The atmosphere is a combination of reclamation chic and old man...with a heavy smattering of Patti Smith drawl. Why The Rude Shipyard? Why not?!
