Kinaara
Hidden away in the vast steel city, Kinaara Chinese, Indian and Thai buffet is certainly a secret worth discovering. Let Itchy warn you in advance: with fresh-made, enormously filling naan, and curries so hot you'll be violating the ice-cream tray, the food definitely isn't for the delicate Korma king or queen. It's a bit pricey for all-you-can-eat: £11 per head alongside extortionate soft drink prices. They don't serve booze, but you are permitted to bring your own if you ask nicely. The fun part is the £2 food wastage charge that see tight-fisted diners either gorging themselves into oblivion, or force-feeding their friends and family cold onion bhajis in thrifty desperation.
